Bubble GUM Self Portraits ❣️

 Hi Families,

We are tired, but happy. This week was kind of epic. We finished our incredible bubble gum self portraits and are very proud of our artwork! Our class also created the cutest itsy bitsy spiders in Art with Mrs. Dalton. AND...we voted on a movie/movie snack reward after working hard to fill our gem treasure chest. Thank you to Mrs. Waxman and Mrs. Batchelder for sending in the best tasty movie treats. Working together, using our time well, making good choices, and being kind earned us a full treasure chest. BEST. WEEK. EVER

Our Second Grade Buddies ❤️

 Dear Families,

Today we met our second grade buddies (from Mrs. Estella's classroom) for the first time ever! We got a top secret envelope with our buddy's picture, name, and favorite animal. Then, Mrs. Dupuis told us that our buddies were coming to meet us and play with us at the end of the day. Boy were we EXCITED! We will work with our second grade buddies all year to build connection, foster confidence, practice skills, share our writing, create projects, read, solve challenges, and to learn from one another. (If you don't see me in the pictures, don't worry I'm there connecting, communicating, and building confidence.) Next time we meet with our buddies, we are hoping to read the books we are writing to them.  (If we were absent and didn't meet our buddy today, we will really soon. 🙂)

First Day of School Rock Stars! 🌟

 Dear Families,

Mrs. Dupuis said that we are total kindergarten rockstars! This is because we were expert listeners, great liner uppers, good friends, hard workers, the best pick uppers ever, and no one fell asleep. Day 1 was a total success!
