Dear Families,
We learned that flowers need water, sunlight, air, and nutrients to grow. We also learned that flowers grow and change over time. Our class researched flowers and learned how to take keyword notes. We then used our notes to write facts about flowers. We are now flower experts! After completing our research, we worked in teams to paint vivid plant and flower murals. Check out our final results in the pictures below.

Dear Families,
The Discovery Museum was back today! After working on experiments that taught us about solid, liquid, and gas, we have decided that we LOVE Science. We tried to change a solid to a liquid by using heat from our bodies. Then, we used materials to create a mini cooler that would keep the heat out and keep our ice cube from melting. We had SCIENCE SUCCESS! Check us out in scientific action. Thank you BPTO for funding all of our cool K scientific workshops with the Discovery Museum!
